Hi, I’m Ana Morrow and I’m 20 years old studying at Chelsea College of art doing a BA honours course in Spatial Design.
I’m originally from Yorkshire and did my foundation in art and design at Leeds College of Art. I moved to London in 2015 to study at Chelsea. I’m now in my 2nd year.
Spatial Design is a relatively new discipline that crosses architecture and interior design with public art. I’m initially interested in exhibition and installation design.
In my first year I became even more intrigued by the ready-made and recycling. In a world of over consumerism and short lived products, we need to re-use otherwise discarded products wether it be recycling, up-cycling or material circularity. In my second year I hope to expand my knowledge on the importance of re-using materials, as well as improving my design practice.
I hope to do an interneship over next summer with lighting design company ‘studio drift’ who are based in Amsterdam. http://www.studiodrift.com/
